1. Conservation and management of natural Fisheries resources in respective districts/projects. 2. Enforcement of fisheries enactments. 3. Development Extension work of the Fisheries resources in the respective districts/projects. 4. Development of sport fishing. 5. Statistical work on fish and fisheries. 6. Preparation of proposals regarding planning of Development Projects for different areas/regions/projects. 7. Administrative matters of the staff working under him. 8. Co-ordination of development in various district with other Nation Building Departments. 9. Management and Judicious exploitation of existing resources for increasing fish production 10.To conduct auction for the fishing rights of public water areas. 11.Stock replenishment through stocking M. Carp and Chines Carps. 12.To explore the fish resources and their management through latest technology. |
